Snowball Nut Cookies

¾ c. butter

½ c. sugar

1 egg

2 t. vanilla

2 c. flour

½ t. salt

1 ½ c. chopped walnuts

confectioners sugar

Cream butter, add sugar, cream well. Add egg and vanilla. Beat till fluffy. Add dry ingredients, mix. Stir in nuts. Shape into 2/3 inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Cool slightly roll in powdered sugar.
