Banana Pudding

 

1 5 ½ oz package instant vanilla pudding

3 c. cold milk

2 c. frozen whipped topping

50 vanilla wafers

4 large bananas

 

Prepare pudding according to package, using 3 cups of milk. Fold in half of the whipped topping.  Reserve 6 wafers and 1 banana.  Slice remaining bananas.  Arrange a layer of wafers on the bottom of 2 qt dish.   Spread with ¼ of the pudding, top with part of the banana slices.  Place wafers around the sides of the dish.  Continue layering wafers and pudding and bananas, ending with pudding.  Cover and chill 3 hours.  Slice remaining banana, garnish with banana slices and remaining 6 wafers and whipped topping.  Makes 8-10 servings.
