Buttercream Frosting

 

6 T. butter

4 ½ to 4 ¾ c. powdered sugar

¼ c. milk

1 ½ t. vanilla

 

Beat butter until fluffy.  Gradually add half of the powdered sugar, beat well.  Add the milk and vanilla.  Gradually add the remainder of the powdered sugar.  Adjust milk and powdered sugar to make the frosting desired consistancy.
