6 T. margarine
5 ½ c. milk
½ c. flour
2 t. salt
¼ t. pepper
1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked as package directs, drain
3 c. shredded cheddar cheese
½ pound velveta cheese, cubed
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 3 qt. Casserole dish with cooking spray, set aside. In a saucepan, melt margarine over medium
heat, when butter bubbles, add flour.
Whisk flour, cooking 1 minute.
While whisking, add milk to pan.
Continue cooking whisking frequently, until the mixture bubbles and
becomes thick. Remove pan from heat,
stir in salt and pepper, and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Stir macaroni into cheese sauce and pour
into prepared pan. Bake until lightly
browned and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
